Boxes have been a source of curiosity, comfort and delight for much of my life.
As a child, my father had an old cigar box full of drafting related items ... pen nibs, French curves, and many things I could not identify but which he collected over a career of putting his ideas to paper. In school I had a wooden tambour top pencil box which became my

And so it began.
Of course, when I started working with wood, a box was amongst my first projects ... and that box is with me today 30 years later, complete with the treasures I stowed away in it long ago!
